About Futuris
Futuris turns charity into opportunity by building pathways of social entrepreneurship.
We equip girls in poverty with the skills, tools, and market access to create, earn, and save—so their futures are built on independence, not donations.
A Future Earned, Not Given.

Empowers girls to transform creativity into independence.
With every stitch and every sale, we turn charity into opportunity—helping girls craft a future earned, not given.
Futuris is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in California, founded by a group of passionate young girls who believe lasting change is built through empowerment, not handouts. Our mission is to equip girls in poverty with the skills, tools, and markets they need to create, earn, and save—laying the foundation for independent, sustainable futures.
Our current work focuses on the Dominican Republic, where many children—especially girls—are left vulnerable to exploitation and human trafficking. Futuris exists to rewrite that story. Through vocational education, these girls learn to design and handcraft beautiful bags from scratch. Each bag is both a work of art and a pathway to freedom: half of the earnings support their daily living, while the other half is saved for future education.
But Futuris doesn’t stop at training. We stand alongside these girls through the entire journey—from design to production, marketing, and sales in the U.S.—so that their creations reach the world and their voices are amplified.
When you carry a Futuris bag, you carry more than just craftsmanship. You carry resilience, dignity, and the vision of a generation building its own future. Together, we are shaping a movement where opportunity replaces dependency and where every girl can thrive as a creator, entrepreneur, and leader of her own destiny.

Bright smiles, steady hands, and hearts that don’t quit
This is the spirit of the girls in the Dominican Republic. Each day, they show up eager to learn, to create, and to prove that their dreams are stronger than their circumstances. With every bag they craft, they weave resilience into beauty, turning opportunity into independence and hope into a future they can truly call their own.
